On Holiday

Had a surprise last week when the bosses asked me to have a month off work as i havent had a holiday for 2 years and we arent very busy at the moment.!!! at first i thought WTF! but then thought hey this is a good thing , rung my mum and we decided to go to the south island so booked our tickets ....3 days in christchurch then off to oamaru to my brothers then two weeks of meandering around the south in his car while hes at work lol. We are staying at b & b's where we feel like stopping so should be a great time away. However Christchurch has just had a horrific earthquake and the hotel we were to stay in has basement damage but they have transfered us to another posher hotel, i feel really bad for the people there and we may only stay for one night depending on the circumstances but my best friend lives there and im going to surprise her by just turning up for a coffee have been txt her and they are all fine no damage to her house so that is great. Better go and sort some warm clothes out as there will be snow down there.....
